Five Tibetan Rites – What Is It?

The practice known as the Five Tibetan Rites is over 2,500 years old. Tibetan monks believed that the aging process could be effectively slowed down by certain practices. They developed the rites, which condensed 21 yoga practices into five exercises. The exercises basically address the seven chakras learned from yoga. These energy centres are related to the endocrine system. Aging is hormone-based, so these exercises are aimed at hormonal balance.
